Chris started his tutoring journey over a decade ago: servicing the Upper East Side of New York City during his time as a student at Regis High School. He continued working with students during his time at the Cooper Union where he completed bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering. After graduation, Chris moved onto Innoveering LLC, (acquired by GE Aerospace in 2022) where he worked as a mechanical and aerospace engineer, program manager, and business development associate. He also notably founded and ran an annual summer STEM program sponsored by his company, exposing students to engineering and project work in classrooms and labs. Chris has also founded several small companies in addition to Mignano Tutoring across various industries, winning grants and program funding, and patenting new technologies. While at Innoveering, he started a PhD program in chemical engineering, where he contributes novel research to the field and has experience teaching STEM at the college level. During the day, he currently works full time at Velo3D as a business development account manager, covering technical sales and business development for the Eastern US and international partners. Chris loves entrepreneurship, fishing and boating, playing basketball, trading stocks, and real estate investment.
